1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Grease an 8×4-inch loaf pan or line muffin tin for rolls.
2. Mix the Batter
In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, combine buttermilk and melted butter.
Pour wet into dry; stir until just combined (batter will be thick but pourable).
3. Bake to Golden Perfection
Pour batter into pan (it will be loose—this is normal!).
Bake 15–18 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Optional: Brush top with melted butter or honey right out of the oven.
4. Cool Slightly & Serve
Let cool 5–10 minutes before slicing.
